Wer ist ein Gewaltopfer?

Gewaltopfer sind Menschen, die durch Übergriffe Anderer zu Schaden kommen und zwar kann es da um körperliche Schäden gehen, es kann um Verletzungen gehen, aber es kann auch um psychische Schäden gehen. Es kann zum Beispiel sein, dass jemand vom Partner geschlagen wird, dann ist es häusliche Gewalt, es können misshandelte Kinder sein, vergewaltigte Frauen sein, aber es können auch Stalking-Opfer sein, wo nichts Körperliches passiert, wo nur psychische Gewalt wirkt.

Was sollte ein Gewaltopfer am besten tun?

Wenn Sie Opfer von Gewalt geworden sind, dann sollten Sie es nicht verschweigen, denn Sie brauchen jetzt vielfältige Hilfe und Unterstützung. Sie sollen sich an einen Arzt, an eine Ärztin Ihres Vertrauens wenden, möglichst an jemanden, der eine entsprechende Ausbildung hat. Wenn in Ihrer Nähe eine Gewaltopferambulanz ist, dann sollten Sie dahin gehen. Denn jetzt ist es wichtig, dass zum einen die Folgen der Gewalt dokumentiert werden und zum anderen dass Sie beraten werden bei allen Fragen, die sich jetzt für Sie stellen.

Wer ist der erste Ansprechpartner für ein Gewaltopfer?

Die Frage, wer der erste Ansprechpartner für Gewaltopfer ist, entscheidet natürlich das Gewaltopfer selber. Gut ist es natürlich, wenn Gewaltopfer sich an qualifizierte Menschen oder Stellen wenden, damit sichergestellt wird, dass alles getan wird, was nach der Tat getan werden muss. Von der Spuren-Asservierung über die Dokumentation von Verletzungen bis hin zu einer sehr zeitnah einsetzenden Krisenintervention, wenn das notwendig ist.

Ja ich bin Fachärztin für Rechtsmedizin und Direktorin des Instituts für Rechtsmedizin und angeschlossen an dieses Institut ist eine Ambulanz für Gewaltopfer in der wir Menschen, die Opfer von Gewalt geworden sind, untersuchen und beraten.

Die Gewaltopferambulanz ist ein Unterstützungsangebot für Menschen, die Opfer von Gewalt geworden sind und sie erfahren da ein Angebot das alles umfasst, was sie jetzt brauchen – von der gerichtsverwertbaren Dokumentation ihrer Verletzungen bis hin zur psychosozialen Betreuung.
